Comments:
First time in field using Sound Devices/8040 rig in Cinela blimp. Excellent sound, 9G and Amtrak line still too close to avoid noise pollution. Lots of different species of birds to be heard: Pileated Woodpeckers, Mourning Doves, Northern Cardinals, Grackles, Red-wing Blackbirds, American Robins, and many more species make up the morning chorus. Also recorded a small waterfall on Stonybrook Rd where I had seen a Great Blue Heron the previous day, but no sign of it this visit.
